Action Plan

Tracking the Opposition

• We have already started tracking the words and actions of the opposition.
  

• We have 2006 campaign statements and related news stories that will be utilized as the opportunities arise.
  

• We will continue to observe public actions, words, websites and votes of the opposition.
  

• Our interests include the 11th District Congressman, potential 10th and 5th Congressional District candidates, Gubernatorial candidates and potential candidates, State  Senators and Representatives and potential candidates for those positions and the Council of State.
  

• Our tracking will include actions of those who support these people and those who these people support. For example, support given to Rep. Jim Black and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi will be noticed.
  

• We are now developing a network of news hounds who will search their local newspapers and other printed news, radio, television, email and blogs for useful information. These news hounds will also be an important part of our education   plan.
  

Speakers Bureau

• We have already begun arranging opportunities to spread the Republican message of family values, fiscal responsibility and limited government. Initially, we will be delivering our message as it relates to WEST WINS.
  

• However, we will transition to speaking opportunities for office holders and candidates very quickly.
  

Polls and Information for Donors

• We will constantly scour all available sources for polls and other information that will be useful for our supporters and those that our Board support. One of our Directors is a professional statistician that can help us interpret and determine the validity of polls.
  

• Upon requests, we will help our donors and candidates find suitable pollsters
  

• We will disseminate this information, to our donors and endorsed candidates, through regular email and/or printed means.
  

Voter Input

• We will be engaged in regular contact with groups of people to learn what they think. We will notify civic and community organizations that we are available for appearances at which we will invite them to share their views. We will then pass those views on to our donors and candidates.
  

Research for candidates

• WEST WINS will offer our research tools to potential candidates.
  

• That can include background research on opponents.
  

Candidate Contributions

• One of our main duties will be to dispense funds to endorsed candidates.
  

• Our Board of Directors will make all contribution decisions.
